January isn't so bad!

This month has been surprisingly eventful for us and I thought life was going to be boring in Pittsburgh in January! Since all the holiday preparations are over, we've been spending more time together doing productive things, especially pretend play. Henry loves playing doctor with Bea, but she's never too keen on the idea. He has been painting, writing in workbooks, playing outside in the snow, sledding and spending time with his cousins for Chinese New Year. All in all, it's been a pretty fun month!

It sounds like you're doing a great job "unschooling" Henry already! I kinda like how "free" January is - no obligations, just lots of time to do whatever you feel like doing. And even better if you're in a place that actually gets decent snow, not just 1/2'' like us!
